Music-loving fans believe young rapper Yaw Tog is not as great as he has been portrayed to Ghanaians.
Many believe he is just not up to the standard of a contemporary rapper or performer although he has a hit song “Sore” which has UK-based Ghananain rapper Stromzy on the remix.
This comes as the second wave of reaction after his first freestyle which he shared on social media was met with negative reception.
Appearing on UTV’s Showbiz show hosted by Nana Ama McBrown yesterday, Yaw Tog was given the microphone to thrill fans and viewers with a live performance but his performance left much to be desired.
Following that, Yaw Tog has appeared in the trends on Twitter where fans are beginning to cast doubts over his talent and asking themselves whether he is truly the next big thing.
Many believe Yaw Tog is young and needs a lot of mentoring hence he needs to stay focus on his education for now and work in the background to polish his craft.
They advised that he shouldn’t be moved by the false hype that he is great and at par with Sarkodie because his performance and freestyle have left a sour taste in the mouth of fans.
