The charged, Alfred Kwabena Bediako Amgba, and the casualty had both visited a similar drinking bar at Nungua where the assault occurred.
The person in question, whose name was given as “Old trooper,” is presently in unconsciousness at the Police Hospital in Accra.
Amgba has conceded with clarification.
